Venue

The conference will take place in the new Essex Business School building on the Colchester Campus of the University of Essex. (click here for a map of the campus). On-campus accommodation is available, either at budget rate in student housing or in our four-star campus hotel.

University of Essex

The University of Essex is located in Colchester, some 60 miles east of London, UK.

Getting to Colchester

Convenient airports are Stansted (ca. 1 hour), Heathrow (ca. 2 hours) or Gatwick (ca. 2 hours). There is a direct National Express bus service to Colchester from Heathrow and Stansted (make sure you take the No 250 to Colchester, not the one that goes directly to the university, which is much slower). Other travel options are to take the airport train to central London and then the train to Colchester from London Liverpool Street.

Getting around Colchester

From Colchester train station, the city centre or Stanwell bus station (for the airport bus), you can reach the campus by taxi (ca. £15) or by Bus No. 61/61A or 62/62A. There are three university bus stops (see the campus map, where the conference volume is the Essex Business School, marked with a J), the most convenient for the conference venue is the North Towers stop.

The University of Essex address is Wivenhoe Park, Colchester CO43SQ. If you should need an on-campus parking permit, please let us know.
